*Global Mining Products* is a *Langley*, *BC*-based manufacturer seeking a *Customer Service Representative *to assist our Sales team with updating and following up with our customers on quotes and orders. Under the *GMI Wheels* brand, we manufacture and supply off-highway / OTR wheels for mining, construction, logging, and industrial applications worldwide, for large tire networks, mining companies and OE?s. The CSR is a unique role, with *four key responsibilities*: * Routinely updating customers on the status of their orders, start to finish, using an ?open order? report, our production schedule and shipping documents. * Advocating on behalf of customers to our production, purchasing and shipping departments, and coordinating with these departments in the event of an expedited order, supply / manufacturing delays, delivery issues or product returns. * Creating opportunities to educate and notify our customers about additional products that complement their existing orders, with the goal of generating additional sales. * Assisting Sales with general inquiries from customers, including product availability, timeframe estimates and product information. Hours: 7:30AM to 4PM. This is not a work at home position. Experience within a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred. *Requirements* Candidates *require *a *good knowledge *of computer inventory systems such as an *ERP / MRP*, with a focus on Material Planning / Inventory Planning, and Customer Maintenance. Applicants that can demonstrate extensive use of inventory planning within Quickbooks, Sage (Accpac) or similar software may also be considered. Friendly, professional phone communication skills, and is a good active listener. A tenacious, problem-solving personality that easily bounces between departments to communicate on priorities, and is comfortable with occasionally getting their hands dirty within our manufacturing environment.
