OVERVIEW:
Little Brown Jug is seeking a full-time taproom and venue manager to take on varied responsibilities related to taproom hospitality, operations and programming. The taproom manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, energetic work environment that motivates staff and provides an optimal customer experience. This role requires an enthusiastic, driven leader that will focus on consistent quality service and workplace culture. The taproom space at Little Brown Jug is often run as a venue for large events and private bookings. The successful candidate will need to able to flip from daily taproom to venue operations.

DUTIES:
? Meaningfully contribute to high-level decision making and strategic planning
? Lead taproom team: build accountability, develop independent workers and cultivate team wellbeing
? Oversee daily taproom operations and run space as venue for programmed events
? Collaborate with events coordinator; generate programming opportunities; execute promotions
? Train taproom team and communicate ongoing developments/new information; schedule taproom team, oversee tip-out
? Manage all taproom inventory and develop improved processes for inventory tracking
? Oversee customer communications and ensure highest standard of customer service
? Perform detailed analysis of hospitality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, generate reports to support decision making
COMPETENCIES:
? Five years of hospitality-related experience running a venue, bar or restaurant that included overseeing food service
? Ability to scheduling staff effectively, 2-4 weeks in advance
? Strong ability to create and implement organizational and quality assurance protocols
? Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
? Experience leading a team and independently solving problems
? Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to train others in this skill-set
? Experience running large scale events
? Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer
? Familiarity with administrative tools including online calendars, POS systems, Excel and inventory management
? Ability to work some evenings and weekends
? Smart Choices certification
