The Higher Cannabis company is a small locally owned and operated retail cannabis store. Looking to build a strong, positive team, and to educate our customers on the growing cannabis industry and provide a great experience to our community. Benefits package after 1 year of full time work. \*\*Preferred Candidate can work between Tilbury and Wheatley locations\*\* \*\*Managers License, Cannsell and police clearance required. Preferred candidate will already have all\*\* Responsibilities: - Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations - Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns - Supervise and train retail staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company policies - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure proper stock levels - Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store displays - Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures - Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and employee performance evaluations Requirements: - Previous experience in a retail or customer service role (Cannabis Industry Preferred) - Strong organizational and administrative skills - Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and inventory management - Knowledge of stock management principles and practices - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage daily operations Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
