AK Brown is currently seeking a *Electrical Journeyman/Apprentice* *Responsibilities:* * Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. * Plan and execute small jobs in a time and cost effective manner. * Work alone or with a apprentice under minimal supervision * Fill out and submit reports by end of job * Knowledge of electrical code and standata * Join on call rotation * Excellent communication with customers and keen eye for detail *Qualifications:* * *Minimum 5 years service van experience* * Extensive commissioning and trouble shooting experience * Extensive experience running small project alone or with a helper * Excellent former employer references * Drivers Licence and clean abstract * Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook, and word * Able to submit to a criminal check and drug test *What we offer* * Full time and long term employment * Competitive wages * There are also other apprenticeship opportunities in 4 other trades * Company Vehicle, cell phone, and laptop * Full benefits package through merit * Continuing education Benefits: * Extended health care * Vision care * Disability insurance * Dental care * Life insurance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$42.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
