While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world’s best-known companies.Major Responsibilities: Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, of Griffith Foods on an ongoing basis and communicates all relevant matters pertaining to Operations.Carries out duties according to procedures and work instructions covering the tasks relating to the position’s function as outlined in the department’s quality manual, in accordance with Griffith Management System requirements. Performs duties as required within shipping/receiving and material handling.Transfers material/finished goods from bagging and/or bakeries into inventory, etc.Keeps material and racks, clean & tidy.Keeps narrow aisle reach truck clean, tidy & safe.Follows material movement practices, maintains extensive knowledge of storage, movement and safe handling of goods.Checks that all materials are correctly stored and transferred using the RF.Narrow Aisle Reach Truck experience.Maintains inventory counts and levels.Communicates internally with other departments for the purpose of gathering, distributing materials and maintaining inventory.Adheres to all Security and Health & Safety policies.Requires lifting of up to 25 kg on a regular basis. What Will You Bring? High school diploma – Required. Knowledge of basic mathematical foundations – Required. Forklift license – Required.Must be able to operate either a Crown Narrow Aisle and/or Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach truck.Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset. Team player with a keen desire to meet deadlines, strong decision maker with excellent communication skills.
