*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our patients. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. * Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area in accordance with infection control protocols. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of care are met. *Skills* * Proficient in Dental Assisting techniques and practices. * Familiarity with dental software such as Epic or Dentrix is preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Experience in Orthodontics or Pediatrics is a plus. * Ability to perform administrative tasks, including dental receptionist duties. * Understanding of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications related to dentistry is beneficial. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
