* Advantage Machine & Tool Inc., is a fast-paced growing custom machine shop, specializing in prototyping/production/job shop work in the general manufacturing/automotive/aviation/aerospace industries, has an opening for a Machinist. * This position may require Programming, and a variety of Lathe and Mill experience. A successful candidate will be able to produce quality product from start to finish. * Previous experience and knowledge of 2D/3D Programming is also an asset, as well as the ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, set up and adjust production machines/tools, and machine parts to close tolerances. * Other responsibilities may include: program and setting up machines for daily production, measure machined components using gauge blocks, pin gauges, micrometers, etc., complete documentation (in-process inspection reports, work orders, non-conformance reports, daily timesheets). * Advantage Machine offers competitive wages and benefit package. * Salary will be paid based on experience * Apprentices are welcome Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 44 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift Experience: * Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationMitchell, ON
