*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Kingston Road AH or/and Sherbourne Animal Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals and supporting veterinarians in their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. * Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. * Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. * Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health practices. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments. * Provide compassionate care to all animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred. * Proficiency in laboratory procedures is highly desirable. * Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * A genuine love for animals and commitment to their health and welfare.
