Notre équipe, experte en Supply Chain et Logistique, parle votre langage et évolue dans votre univers.</p><p>I'm currently working with one of my clients in the distribution sector. Located in the west end of Montreal, this company is looking for a logistics coordinator. <br> <br>Responsible for managing all sea/air imports/exports <br>Coordinate delivery arrangements for shipments <br>Check OBL and submit to shipping companies <br>Organize documentation required for Import/Exports <br>Confirm bookings and obtain appropriate approvals <br>Book freight with transport companies / agents <br>Track and trace shipments on a daily basis <br>Receive shipments into ERP system <br>Ensure invoices are processed <br>Verify accuracy of customs invoices. Analyze tariff rates - file duty calls with brokers. <br>Support duty drawback claims. <br>Resolve billing, shipping and internal problems, and implement preventive measures. <br>Continuously improve internal systems and procedures.</p><p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred <br>CITT and/or CIFFA certifications considered an asset <br>At least 3 years experience in international freight forwarding or in a logistics environment. <br>Previous experience in freight transportation <br>Current knowledge of international maritime/air import/export rules and regulations <br>Canadian and US customs experience <br>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an analytical approach <br>Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel) <br>Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively. <br>Strong attention to detail <br>Experience in managing third-party logistics providers <br>Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</p>
