*Position Summary *
The Store Clerk is a vital member of the aviation operations team, responsible for supporting logistics and inventory activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. This role involves receiving shipments, picking and preparing orders, kitting, shipping, conducting equipment checks, report preparation, store support, and managing customs documentation. The Store Clerk will collaborate with the Stores team Lead and other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
*Duties*
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with receiving shipments and verify documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Pick up and deliver parts + shipments
* Assemble and organize kits for scheduled maintenance or operational needs
* Conduct shipping processes, including packing, labeling, and customs documentation
* Perform equipment checks to ensure all tools and machinery are safe and operational
* Prepare reports related to inventory, shipments, and logistics operations
* Provide support for store operations, including inventory organization and replenishment
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and aviation industry regulatory guidelines
* Complete tasks as delegated by the chargehand or manager
*Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience in logistics, warehousing, or aviation operations is an asset
* Proficiency in using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving items
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards
*Additional Requirements:*
* Flexibility to work shift work and additional hours including evenings and weekends as required
* Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
* Must be able to acquire and maintain a Restricted Airside Identification Card (RAIC)
* Must have a clean criminal record
* Minimum age requirement: 21 years
* Must hold and maintain a valid passport
* Must hold a valid driver's license
* Due to the safety sensitive nature of the job and possible customer requirements, applicants must be willing to complete pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
