We are committed to hiring qualified employees who are dedicated to education in the Roman Catholic tradition. <p> St. Mary's Catholic Independent School invites applications for: <p>After School Care Responsible Adult <p>For August 28, 2024 Start <p> <p>St. Mary's Catholic Independent School provides care and supervision for students after the regular school day has ended. Our staff aim to provide an enriching experience for all students who drop in to the Club, with continued development and growth of each student's unique gifts. A well-rounded environment of after-school activities including arts and athletics are planned weekly, with homework support available as needed. <p>We have an opening for an After School Care Responsible Adult to join our community. This position offers afternoon shifts from 2:30 - 5:30. If this is where you feel you belong, please apply.<p>Our successful candidate will: <p><p> have experience/training working with school age children and create a warm, compassionate environment for a variety of ages.<p> have strong planning/preparation skills to create engaging, age-appropriate activities (telling stories, crafts, singing songs, etc).<p> be flexible to the changing needs of the children and programs.<p> have problem solving, multitasking and conflict resolution skills.<p> provide safety, arranging rooms/furniture/outdoor play for activities and rest periods appropriately.<p> be adaptable to fluctuating numbers of students as parents pick up.<p> maintain toys and other applicable equipment (housekeeping duties).<p> perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/principal.<p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate: <p><p> Commitment to Catholic Education and teachings<p> Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic Parish<p> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively as part of a team<p> Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters<p><p> <p>In order to be considered for any position with CISND and to ensure timely processing of your application, all required documents must be submitted with your application.
