Position Summary:Acuren is currently recruiting a 3rd Year Machinist to join our team and support the sour gas corrosion testing lab in Calgary, AB. The finished products produced by our machine shop are primarily NACE corrosion test specimens machined from oil and gas tubular products. Responsibilities:Operate band saws, cut off saws, surface grinders Operate CNC lathes and mills Hand polishing/grinding test samples Use precision measuring equipment for quality control Perform regular shop cleaning, inspections and basic maintenance Requirements:3rd year Machinist Apprentice Completion of a CNC machining course High school diploma or equivalent Familiar with CNC and manual machines Experience with AutoCAD would be considered an asset Good communication skills with a willingness to learn under the current machinist lead Ability to execute verbal and written work- LocationCalgary, AB
