Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Custom machine shop. Manufacture. Tasks: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Clean and maintain work space. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Machinist Trade Certification. Equipment: Gear cutting machine. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Reliability. Ability to multitask. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
