<p><b><span>With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.</span></b><br> </p><p>As an Order Picker, you will help continue to grow our online business and customer relationships by obtaining detailed list of product(s) necessary to fill each order, prioritizing them and picking the product ready for customer pick-up or delivery in a timely manner.<br> <br>Position Responsibilities: <br><br>Picking, organizing, staging and verify orders for delivery or pick-up<br>Accurately labelling and placing orders into specified holding areas until moved out store and loaded onto the truck<br>Utilize appropriate lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)<br>Utilize computer terminals and/or Home Depot portable phone to identify product & location, check inventory, look-up orders and pick orders<br>Stocking merchandise onto shelves and organizing the sales floor<br>Loading orders onto delivery trucks<br>Experience/Knowledge Required: <br>Able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Sunday nights (10PM - 6:30AM)<br>Computer skills required; able to use desktops, apps on smart phones<br>Previous forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required<br>Time management and organizational skills required<br>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills<br>Ability to lift to fifty pounds repetitively<br>Detail-oriented; able to work both independently and as part of a team; self-motivated to drive completion of tasks as quickly and accurately as possible<br>What sets us apart:<br>Health and Dental Benefits<br>Growth and Career Advancement - including Tuition Reimbursement<br>Profit Sharing and Stock Purchase Plan<br>Paid Training & Career Development opportunities<br>10% shift premium (Overnight roles)<br>The Home Depot Core Values - Excellent Customer Service, Creating Shareholder Value, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Taking Care of Our People, Respect for All People, Doing the Right Thing, Building Strong Relationships, Giving Back</p>- LocationVictoria, BC
