*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner to join our team at _esprit_MD. The ideal candidate will have a background in women's health and a special interest in hormone replacement, anti-aging and regenerative medicine. The clinic is focused on women's health, primarily peri and post menopause care, non-surgical management of incontinence, sexual wellness, weight loss and anti-aging. The nurse practitioner who joins the team would be encouraged to expand their knowledge and education in functional and preventative medicine and to develop expertise in areas of special interest that align with our mission and vision. The nurse practitioner in this role will see patients in consultation, develop treatment plans and oversee hormone therapies with the primary goal of managing the symptoms of menopause and improving quality of life. There will be a strong emphasis on preventative medicine and integration of lifestyle modification and alternative therapies such as peptides and nutraceuticals. There is an option to expand services to include medical aesthetic procedures (neuromodulators, fillers, etc) for interested and qualified applicants. *Scope/Activities* * Conduct comprehensive assessments of peri and post menopausal women to determine their suitability for hormone replacement * Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results * Provide education and counseling to patients regarding treatment options for evidence based hormone therapies * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments, integrating lifestyle modification with pharmacologic interventions and nutraceuticals * Prescribe hormone therapies, including subcutaneous hormone pellets, and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions * Insert subcutaneous hormone pellets * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care * Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems (Accuro) * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes *Skills* * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management * Comfortable with minor surgical procedures (needed for pellet insertion) * Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and the ability to interpret results effectively * Open to integrative therapies that combine aspects of lifestyle modification, nutrition and nutraceuticals * Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Accuro) * Training in functional and regenerative medicine is an asset, but not a requirement *Education, Licensing, & Experience:* * Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals and recent relevant clinical nursing experience *Compensation* This is a private pay clinic. Income will be based upon hours worked and current rates charged for services. The pay model is negotiable (salary vs fee for service with percentage deduction to cover overhead). *The Clinic* _esprit_MD is a medical clinic in Vernon, BC for women who "want to find their spark again". Dr. Christine Hatfield, MD, medical director and lead clinican, is a gynecologist with over 30 years experience. Her mission is to provide evidence based treatments to optimize women's health as they transition through perimenopause and beyond. With advanced training in functional and aesthetic medicine, she has developed protocols for bio-identical hormone replacement, weight loss, urinary incontinence and other conditions that negatively impact the quality of life for women as they transition through menopause. Concurrent with her medical interests, Dr. Hatfield runs a busy aesthetic practice that offers tailored cosmetic treatments including laser, IPL, plexr and injectables.
