Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience Work setting General manufacturing Tasks Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Set up and adjust production machineries/tools Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Measuring tools Micrometers Calibre Gauges Verniers Equipment and machinery experience Boring machines Drill presses Milling machines Tapping machines Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Work conditions and physical capabilities Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Green job Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes Health benefits Dental plan Disability- LocationVictoriaville, QC
