*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves working on various projects, including industrial installations and maintenance, ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. *Duties* * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks. * Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage systems, ensuring minimal downtime for operations. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time and within specifications. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made during projects. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role is essential. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is required. * Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in electrical work is necessary. * Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this position. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
