*Overview*
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including budgeting, payroll, and account reconciliations.
* Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into financial performance.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting and tax obligations.
* Conduct account analysis to identify trends and variances, providing recommendations for improvement.
* Oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection of payments.
* Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and payroll management.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and analysis effectively.
* Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment is a plus.

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
