*WANTED GROOMER * *902-523-1395* * A minimum of 2 year professional grooming experience * Basic understanding of all tools and grooming experience equipment required to groom * Adaptability and customer focused * Offering clients advice and expertise on how to best maintain their dog's coat * Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to increase clientele. * Growing the business through word of mouth and referrals * Responsible for all bathing, drying, nail mouth and referrals trimming, and ear cleaning of all sizes and breeds of dogs * Provide lots of love and attention to our breeds of dogs furry salon clients * Able to perform breed specific and pet style cuts and trims * Take phone calls and book grooming style cuts and trims appointments * Ability to calmly handle all temperaments * Clean the salon at the end of the day * Ensure a high level of sanitization in the spa * Punctual * Clean and organized * Ability to perform nail trims using both a Dremel and nail clippers * Ability to recognize different skin and hair conditions including lice, ticks, fleas, hot spots, etc. * Ability to stand up to for long hours * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$26.00 per hour Additional pay: * Commission pay Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Store discount Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Pet Groomers: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationConquerall Mills, NS
