Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Automation engineer technology/technician. Autobody/collision and repair technology/technician. Automobile/automotive mechanics technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Inspect motor in operation. Review work orders . Road test motor vehicles . Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Test and adjust units to specifications. Coach and instruct apprentices. Area of specialization: Engine repair. Diesel engines. Diagnostics. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
