Overview:
We are seeking a casual, dedicated, energetic and above all passionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our residents while adhering to food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures. This role is crucial in supporting our food service operations in a healthcare setting.
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals *following specific dietary requirements*
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle food in accordance with established sanitary regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Prepare dining rooms and tables and provide meal services to residents
-Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards residents, visitors and co-workers
Requirements:
- Must have a Food Handler's Certificate
-Must have Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Must have at least one year institutional, health care, restaurant, or hospitality experience. Preference will be given to individuals who have previous Long Term Care experience
- Preference will be given to those applicants that hold a Food Service Worker Certificate
- Previous experience in food preparation and ware washing
- Must be available for all shifts including days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints

Cedarwood Village was build in 1989 and is a leading provider of long term care services in the Simcoe, Ontario area. Family owned and operated, Cedarwood Village is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as a Long Term Care Home designed to promote a home-like environment. The home is a 90-bed, smoke free facility with beautiful courtyard gardens accessible to all residents and their families.

Pay: From $20.15 per hour
Expected hours: 8 ? 19.5 per week
