*POSITION SUMMARY:* We are seeking a Ladies' Designer for Wear-to-Work, Casual and Dressy apparel who will work closely with the divisional sales director. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Manage full cycle collections to meet customer needs, remain cost efficient. * Coordinate product development; * Research trends and ideas online and in-stores, analyze market trends and study the competition; * Ensure product is innovative and customer-needs driven; * Research fabrics, colors, bodies and prints, buy samples and visit mills to source and respond to client needs; * Create graphic designs to enhance the apparel designs * Develop and modify sketches, put presentation boards together and line sheets; * Help in preparing technical packages and following up with suppliers; * Follow up on pattern development progress (tech packs, fits and patterns) with internal technical teams; * Coordinate the development of samples and review with the patternmakers; * Manage special projects and line creation deadlines; * Present lines to the Sales team and assist with presentations to clients when necessary. *REQUIREMENTS: * * DEC, Fashion Design; * Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop; * Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word; Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 2N9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * ladies fashion design: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationSaint-Laurent, QC
