*Position: *Foot Care Nurse *Location: *Vancouver Island/Greater Vancouver Area; Surrey, Delta, Vancouver, Burnaby, etc. *Salary:* $61.50 per visit *Join our Team as a Footcare RN/LPN!* Carelink Home Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foot Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will have experience in providing foot care services, particularly with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, circulatory issues and other foot-related concerns. As a Foot Care Nurse, you will be responsible for performing assessments, providing wound care, and educating patients on proper foot care hygiene and preventative care. *About CareLink Home Care Inc.* At *CareLink Home Care Inc., *we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Our team of skilled nurses and caregivers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through personalized care plans and a focus on overall well-being. *Key Responsibilities:* - Perform thorough foot assessments to identify issues such as infections, wounds, or poor circulation. - Provide specialized foot care, including wound dressing, debridement, and toenail trimming. - Educate patients on proper foot hygiene and preventive care to avoid complications, especially for diabetic and elderly patients. - Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, podiatrists, and family members. - Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring all care activities meet clinical standards. - Maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with CareLink Home Care?s policies and healthcare regulations. *Qualifications:* - Current LPN/RN license, in good standing. -Completion of Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable sector) -Valid CPR certification -Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the island/GVA - Completion of a course in advanced foot care within the last 10 years is required and any additional relevant foot care qualifications. - Experience providing foot care to patients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, PAD) is highly desirable. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and family members. - Previous home care experience is an asset. - Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong time-management skills. *Skills & Attributes:* - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and their families. - A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. - Organized with keen attention to detail and documentation accuracy. *Why Join CareLink Home Care Inc.?* - *Competitive Compensation:* We offer a competitive salary. - *Supportive Team Environment: *Work with a dedicated and compassionate team focused on providing the best care possible. - *Flexible Work Schedule*: Enjoy the flexibility of working in a home care setting, with the ability to manage your schedule.
