We are loyal to our customers; providing efficient and cost effective products and services._ *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Ability to interpret drawings, work orders, fabrication processes, structural steel, materials, and other documentation associated with production * Strong mathematical capability and layout skills * Extensive knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in the fitting, structural steel trades. * Knowledge and understanding of the operation of shop tools * Handle Materials ? within the shop and outdoors as required * Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders etc. * Manually lifting weights between 20-50 lbs. * Following all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations * Working in a fast-paced environment * Paying high attention to detail * Ability to pay close attention to detail and examine work for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications. * Willing to work overtime, day, afternoon and shift work as required and committed to doing what is necessary to ensure duties are completed. * Proper precautions, housekeeping and safety upheld at all times * Performs related duties as required. *REQUIREMENTS:* * Red Seal Metal Fabricator (Fitter) an asset * Good attention to detail and results oriented * Strong sense of teamwork. * Valid Driver?s License an asset *\*Remuneration based on experience\** _For more information about our company, please visit our website at www.patrickmechanical.ca_ _We thank everyone who applies, however, only those selected will be contacted._ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Lively, ON P3Y 1K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Welding: 3 years (preferred) * Fitting/Fabricating: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationLively, ON
