*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. * Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. * Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. * Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. * Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient records management. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. * Support orthodontic procedures as needed, including assisting with CAD technology. * Provide assistance in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus. * Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. * Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * A commitment to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. * Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends.
