Job details
*Qualifications: Red Seal Certificate or Cooks I, II or Trade of Institutional cook. Completion of a chef or cook training program from a recognized institution; required.* Previous experience cooking home-style meals in a long term care facility. Experience working with seniors are preferred. *Must take a Food Handler's Certificate.* *Must be knowledgeable of the Provincial Food Premises Regulation and Canada's Food guide to Healthy Eating. * *Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift.* *Must have leadership ability and be able to direct the dietary department in the absence of the Dietary Manager.* *Knowledge of Infection Control Guidelines.* *Must be able to follow directions and written communication.* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.90-$21.42 per hour Benefits: * Life insurance * On-site parking Work Location: In person- LocationGoderich, ON
