As the fastest-growing national traffic control company, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional services to our clients. *Responsibilities:* * Process bi-weekly payroll for a large employee base * Ensure accuracy of employee information, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes * Administer various payroll-related employee benefits, such as 401K and health insurance * Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and assist with resolving payroll discrepancies * Prepare and file year-end payroll tax returns * Stay current with local payroll laws and regulations *Qualifications:* * 2+ years of experience in payroll administration * Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and laws * Proficient in payroll software, such as Payworks or Paychex * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Experience:* * Payroll: 2 years (required) *Benefits:* * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care *Schedule:* * Monday to Friday *Location:* Dartmouth, NS *Job Type:* Full-time *Salary:* $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Dartmouth, NS B3B 1J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Payroll: 2 years (required) * Payworks/ Paychex: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationDartmouth, NS
