Westhills Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our clinic is committed to providing top-tier dental care in a friendly, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities: * Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, root planing, and polishing * Conduct oral health assessments and collaborate with the dentist for treatment planning * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation * Assist in infection control and adhere to clinic protocols for a safe and clean environment * Offer excellent patient care and support, creating a welcoming and positive experience Qualifications: * Registered and licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Alberta * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Previous experience is an asset * Proficient in using dental software and technology Benefits: * Competitive salary with benefits package * Dental care benefits for immediate family * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education * Ample free parking Schedule: * Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 11:30AM-8PM * Thursday: 7AM-3:30PM * Alternating Friday (8AM-3PM) and Saturday (8AM-4PM) * All long weekends off (4 day weekends!) * Scheduled time off (1 week Feb, 2 weeks July) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $58.00-$61.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * 8 hour shift Licence/Certification: * Dental Hygienist License (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-02- LocationCalgary, AB
