*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. * Assist in the organization of clean dishes and kitchen supplies to ensure easy access for cooks and food preparation staff. * Help with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff to support meal service. * Follow all food safety guidelines and practices to ensure proper food handling and sanitation. * Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen supervisor promptly. * Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. * Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
