With the company's recent acquisition to Republic Services, we are committed to providing solid waste management and recycling solutions for industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) customers across Southern Ontario. *Position: Customer Service Representative, Toronto* Full-time, permanent position with full company paid Group Insurance Benefits and a company matching Group Retirement Savings Plan. *Location: 161 Bridgeland Ave., Toronto, ON M6A 1Z1* *Reporting to: Customer Service Manager* *Shift: *Must be available to work between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. The Customer Service Representative is part of the first line of contact for our many valued customers. Are you ready to be at the front of shaping a great customer experience? Your mission as a part of a team of professionals in a small entrepreneurial office is to execute on our commitments, service the customer?s needs, and to help drive revenue. *Job Summary:* * Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. * Assist customers with standard account-related requests. * Provide information about service conditions and availability. * Act as the customer liaison between departments when necessary. * Process all necessary documentation. * Update the information system to ensure accurate transactions and data integrity. * Perform other duties as necessary. * Answering all incoming calls and/or directing those calls to the appropriate person in a professional manner. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Deal directly with customers either by telephone or electronically through email. * Conducts follow up phone calls to customers to ensure issues are resolved. * Provide reports, write up quotes, pull contracts, complete forms and update TRUX. * Answer billing inquiries from customers and/or Sales Reps. * Provide relief for Reception/Administrative support when needed. * Process and investigate credits requested by Sale Reps and customers regarding billing Issues. * Provide back-up support to Operations as required. * Responsible for notifying Sales Reps, Manager and Operation of any changes to customer account/service update internal database within TRUX. * Performs other related duties as assigned by Management. *Requirements* * Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. * Logistics industry experience preferred. * Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills. * Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills * Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. * Able to work well under pressure. * Strong attention to detail. * Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. * Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Proven data entry and typing skills. * Professional appearance and manners. * Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
