*JOB PURPOSE:* We are currently searching for a Cook to work inside the kitchen located in Long-Term facility to serve the residents on daily basis. *Responsibilities:* * Cook food for the residents of a Long-term facility * Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order * Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of foods * Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients * Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns * Setting up the work station * Developing recipes that comply with company policy * Attend in-service training as required in order to better serve the needs of the residents; * Work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents) * Complete other duties as assigned. *Why join Power?* * Weekly pay * Consistent hours * Growth opportunity *Must have:* * Experience using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils. * Food Handler Certificate is a must. * Working in a nursing home considered a strong asset. * Equivalent College diploma. * Good communication skills. * Flexible working different hours including weekends. * Team player.
