Privately owned Practice, we have been providing exceptional medical care to our loyal clients for 50 years. We offer mentorship through our senior technicians, who have over 15 years of experience, and one of our part-time DVMs is a professor for a local RVT program. Our large team enjoys working together, sharing diverse caseloads, and having fun. *Why Join Erin Mills Pet Hospital? *(https://erinmillsvet.ca/about-us/team/) * *Part-time role:* 16-20-hour work week * *Competitive pay:* $23 - $27/hr + based on experience (plus a monthly production bonus) * *Benefits:* Paid dues, CE and uniform allowance, annual performance/wage reviews, comprehensive extended health benefits plan, veterinary services, and drug discounts * *Professional development:* Continuing education allowance and 1-on-1 in-person mentorship through VetCircle (www.vetcircle.ca) * *Work environment:* Multi-vet facility with a supportive and collaborative team *Responsibilities:* * Prepare all surgical procedures before the surgeon scrubs in, monitor, and support post-recovery * Perform all dental cleaning/scaling * Manage all treatments and diagnostics * Work as Exam Room Assistants, leading appointments and educating clients about gold-standard diagnostics and treatments * Utilize designated Technician Assistants to help with restraints, diagnostics, treatments, surgery flow, and more * Conduct 30-minute assisted technician appointments *Ideal Candidate:* * 2+ years of experience working in a veterinary setting * RVT designation is an asset * 1+ years of experience as a technician * Strong organizational and leadership skills * A passion for learning and collaboration *We look forward to you joining our team!* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour Experience: * veterinary technician: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationMississauga, ON
