Job Description:The Service Coordinator is a split role that includes service technician duties and shop activity coordination. The Service Coordinator target for direct time on work orders is 75%.Under guidance of the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator will be the lead technician for the location, ensuring the safe & efficient operation of shop facilities and work being conducted by the Service Team.?This position will safely and efficiently perform repairs & maintenance to agricultural machinery that meets or exceeds customer and CLAAS standards. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, equipment failure diagnostics of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, electronics, computer applications, HVAC and removal/repair/replacement of failed components.??Troubleshoots and repairs customer machinery either in the shop or customer locationTroubleshoots machine systems and research?s problemsRegularly inspects the service department and ensures any potential safety hazards are identified and mitigated.? Ensures all service staff follow all required safety regulations and that all training is kept up to date.Machinery Set-Up and AdjustmentsUses laptop to enter own labor, fill out service reports, and completes warranty reportsUses service manuals and parts books to look up specs and parts for repairsOrganization of shop workflow, tools, and service vehiclesWorks with Service Team to maintain a high level of cleanliness as it relates to the shop work area and service vehiclesMotivates Service Team to perform work safely and efficiently while delivering quality resultsAssists Service Manager with:Creation of work schedules and field technician assignmentsQuoting repairs for internal machines and for customer unitsMonitoring and invoicing work orders in a timely mannerQuality Assurance inspections of completed technician work when required?Service Manager designate as requiredService on call rotation split with Service Manager during peak seasonEnsures compliance to business practices, ethics, and safety.Your profile:Journeyman Diploma5+ years industry experience, preferredValid driver?s license required with verifiable safe driving historyWorking knowledge of agricultural equipment, requiredPrior experience in troubleshooting methodsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsFarm background desirableAbility to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervisionAbility to safely operate large farm machineryAbility to multi-task and follow through with defined tasksAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracyProficient computer skillsStrong English language skills required- LocationYorkton, SK
