Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Administer eye drops, ointments and medications as directed by ophthalmologists. Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assist health care professionals. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Maintain prescription records . Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments. Record test results and medications given by ophthalmologists. Clean and maintain equipment. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history. Area of specialization: Ophthalmology.
