Bright?s Grove Animal Hospital is a busy practice located in the beautiful lakeside community of Bright?s Grove in the Sarnia/Lambton area. We have been servicing our small animal clients in this area for nearly 30 years. We are unique in that we are owned by the Sarnia and District Humane Society. We are looking for someone that has an interest in both general practice and shelter medicine. The Sarnia and District Humane Society has a stellar reputation in the area of providing high standards of care to the animals they serve. As the attending veterinarian, you will help to develop and put into the place the standards of care for not only the animals you'll see in the clinic that are owned by the general public, but also the animals being cared for in the shelter. The clinic has undergone a lot of change in a short amount of time and we are looking for someone who has strong skills in diagnosing and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, someone with experience helping to develop clinic policies for standards of care for all the animals we see. If you have a love for surgery, there is lots! If surgery isn't your thing, we have several super locum doctors currently helping with our surgical load. Salary range from $130,000-160,000 depending on skills and experience. New grads are welcome to apply. There is no on call for clients. We offer medical and dental benefits and RRSP matching. Yearly CE allotment and 3-4 weeks vacation. If you require housing assistance, we are happy to provide that for your first few months until you are able to learn more about the area and find a place to buy or rent.
