About Us: Wildflower Centre is a new childcare facility dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking dedicated Childcare Support Staff to join our team. *We are currently unable to offer sponsorship for PR.* Job Description: As a Childcare Support Staff member at Wildflower Centre, you will assist certified Early Childhood Educators in providing quality care and education to children. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the supervision and engagement of children during activities and playtime. - Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. - Supporting meal and snack times, including preparation and cleanup. - Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of each child. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Passion for working with children and supporting their development. - Ability to follow directions and work well within a team. - Previous experience in childcare or related fields is an asset. -References from previous work with children or 2 character references -CPR/First Aid, Food Handler Certificate and clean Vulnerable sector check (or willing to obtain prior to start date) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site childcare * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Central Bedeque, PE C0B 1G0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Are you able to provide relevant references or 2 character references?
