Position #: 9000916 Expected Start Date: December 02, 2024 Union: OOS Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: Labour Relations North Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: December 02, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 5 shifts of 7.5 hours per 1 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: As per Terms and Conditions of Employment Travel Required: Yes Job Description:Labour Relations Specialists are responsible for providing advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert in the design, delivery, and implementation of human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues. The Specialist provides solutions for labour relations issues including interpretation, application and administration of collective agreements and relevant legislation, labour relations and conflict resolution advice in support of managing workplace matters, strategic labour relations advice and support for organization change and strategic initiatives, conducting the grievance process, negotiating and documenting grievance settlements, preparing for arbitration and other adjudications, contributing to labour relations policy development, conducting workplace investigations, preparing for and participating in collective bargaining, and providing training on labour relations matters within the organization.
