We have ongoing relevant educational training modules to help you grow in your knowledge while you work. *Requirements:* * Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes. * Complete a criminal record check. * Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on. * Reliable transportation. * Professional demeanour and respectful attitude. * Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks. * Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary). * Flexible availability. * Previous caregiving and or elder care experience. * 1+ professional references. * Applicant must reside in British Columbia. *Caregiver Tasks Include:* * Meal prep + planning. * Dementia Care/Companionship. * Housekeeping (including laundry). * Personal care + hygiene. * Errands and grocery shopping. * Medication routines. * Quality time + companionship. * Helping with exercises. * Use a sit to stand machine. (Sara Stedy-must have experience). * Use a chair lift. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Flexible schedule * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (required) * HCA Registration (required) Work Location: In person- LocationHarrison Hot Springs, BC
