Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Dairy. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated). Area of specialization: Dairy cattle. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationLyn, ON
