*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and eager Carpenter Apprentice to join our young dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry trade while working under the guidance of skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in carpentry. *Responsibilities* * Assist experienced carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. * Help with the measurement, cutting, and shaping of materials according to specifications. * Participate in constructing frameworks, including walls, roofs, and cabinets. * Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. * Support the team in caulking, fabricating components, and ensuring all installations are plumb and level. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety on job sites. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. *Skills* * Basic knowledge of construction estimating techniques is beneficial. * Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and measuring devices. * Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns. * Understanding of how to plumb structures accurately. * Experience or interest in cabinet installation is a plus. * Ability to fabricate materials as needed for specific projects. * Strong attention to detail when following schematics or project plans. * Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced carpenters.
