Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Apiary management. Automated honey extractor. Detect bee diseases . Hypothesize possible causes and solutions to colony collapse disorder (CCD) based on knowledge of bee behaviour, biology and cast system. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Treat bees with antibiotics . Queen bee production from grafting. Honey farm. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Initiative. Organized. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?.
