*Hensall Global is a leading logistics provider offering freight transportation services and logistics solutions to our global customer base. * *We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team.* *What we offer:* · Competitive Annual Salary. · Group Benefits Plan and Health Care Spending Account. · Pension Plan matched by employer. · Excellent Vacation and paid time off. *Job Duties and Responsibilities:* · Develop sound knowledge of customer requirements and ensure alignment with the required transportation service. · Obtain vendor rate quotes and services for all modes of transportation. · Communicate with multiple vessel lines and thoroughly analyze industry information. · Investigate and determine the optimum freight rate for Hensall Global accounts. · Develop a solid understanding of the market, trends and previous shipments. · Become familiar with various modes, trade lanes, and origin to destination pairings. · Liaison between Sales and Operations departments to ensure all requirements are accurately detailed from pricing through to costing. · Ensure customer rates are accurate and distributed to customers on a timely basis. · Facilitate on-going communication with all vendors to review rate changes, service levels, options and pricing. · Investigate and resolve any service charge claims and invoice discrepancies. · Develop long-term working relationships with transportation providers. *Required Qualifications:* · High School Diploma or equivalent. · Post-Secondary education in business, finance or related program. · Experience in transportation/international freight forwarding and third-party logistics will be considered an asset. · Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). · Ability to take initiative and problem solve. · Analytical thinker with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. · Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills. · Strong negotiation skills with ability to adapt as required. · A positive and professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with all team members and customers.
