*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the capability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. *Duties* * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various vehicles. * Perform automotive repairs including but not limited to engine work, brake systems, and electrical systems. * Assemble components and systems as needed. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems. * Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on vehicles. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. * Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes. * Ability to weld and perform assembly tasks is preferred. * Familiarity with dealership practices is a plus. * Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job (up to 50 pounds). * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. * Valid driver's license is required.
