Our commitment to maintaining the "home-made" taste and quality in every batch has helped our reputation and business flourish over the years. *Job Title:* Customer Service Associate *Employment Type:* Part-time (up to 32 hours/week) *Role Overview:* We are actively seeking an energetic, caring, and passionate sweets enthusiast to join our team. As a pivotal first point of contact, you will deliver efficient and pleasant service, ensuring every customer's experience at Baklawa King is memorable. *Primary Duties:* * Assist customers efficiently at the checkout and ensure a smooth service flow. * Greet each customer with a warm smile and offer personalized, friendly service. * Gain expert knowledge about our sweets and pastries and advise customers effectively. * Maintain cleanliness and operational functionality of equipment and store premises. * Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. *Common Staff Duties:* * Possess in-depth knowledge of Baklawa King?s menu items and ingredients to confidently handle inquiries. * Uphold our stringent food safety guidelines and preparation standards. * Ensure overall cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dining area. * Support fellow team members and contribute to a cooperative working environment. * Perform various housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed. *Working Conditions & Physical Demands:* * Capability to stand for up to 8-hour shifts. * Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kg. * A fast-paced, dynamic work environment. *Requirements:* * Legal eligibility to work in Canada. * Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous customer service experience is beneficial. *Desired Traits:* * A genuine, cheerful disposition. * A passion for people, sweets, and impeccable service. * Keen attention to detail. * Eagerness to learn and grow within our company. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. *Workplace Conduct:* At Baklawa King, we uphold a respectful, professional, and safe work environment for all employees and customers.
