*Job Summary*
The Digital Marketing Account Manager oversees and optimizes our digital presence across web, social media, and Google platforms. This role includes creating and managing content for our website, driving social media engagement, and handling Google Ads campaigns to ensure our brand message reaches and resonates with our target audience. The ideal candidate is both creative and data-driven, skilled in managing multiple accounts, and experienced in executing digital strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive measurable results.
*Digital Marketing and Content Management*
* Develop, edit, and publish engaging content for the website, including articles, blog posts, landing pages, and other site sections.
* Collaborate with marketing team to maintain the website?s consistency, quality, and performance, ensuring that the website is visually appealing, functional and optimized for performance.
* Optimize content based on performance analytics, making data-driven adjustments to improve reach and engagement.
* Manage and monitor website content updates, ensuring timely and relevant content across the platform.
* Implement SEO best practices, including meta tags, alt text, headings, and URL structures.
*Social Media Management*
* Oversee all social media accounts for Muslim Hands Canada, creating and scheduling high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and community engagement, while ensuring all content aligns with the organization's branding and communication strategies.
* Review, schedule and approve all communication materials to ensure they deliver a coherent message across digital channels and engage with online communities by responding to inquiries and fostering conversations.
* Track and analyze social media metrics to refine strategies, optimize engagement, and increase conversions, preparing regular performance reports.
* Manage social media budgets effectively, maximizing reach and engagement within financial constraints.
*Google Account Management*
* Serve as the primary manager of Google Ads accounts, including Search, Display, YouTube, and sponsored ads, working closely with the team to ensure goals are met.
* Develop and optimize campaigns based on KPIs (e.g., CTR, conversion rate, ROAS), utilizing Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, and Google Tag Manager to monitor performance.
* Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copy creation to maximize ad relevance and performance.
* Prepare regular, data-driven reports on Google Ads performance, delivering insights and strategic recommendations to clients.
* Manage budgets for Google Ads and social media campaigns, creating and monitoring monthly spend and ROI, and contributing to the production of annual budget sheets and forecasting.
*Required Qualifications*
* *Education*: Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* *Experience*:
* Proven experience (2+ years) as a social media manager, community manager, or similar role.
* Hands-on experience with social media platforms, tools, and analytics (e.g., Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
* Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
* Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
* *Skills*:
* Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen sense for brand tone and voice.
* Solid understanding of social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
* Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret social media metrics.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media.
* Previous experience managing social media accounts for a similar industry.
* Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
