Job Title: Shipper/Receiver Location: Mount Pearl, NL Position Type: Full-Time We have built the best dealership, now we are building the best team. The O?Neill Automotive Group is seeking an organized individual for our state-of-the-art automotive parts department for the position of Shipper/Receiver. As a Shipper/Receiver you will report directly to the Parts Manager and will assist in all areas including but not limited to: * Determines shipping methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates * Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment * Prepares documents such as bills of lading and shipping orders * Corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages and nonconformance to specifications * Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock * Restocking of inventory - assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly * Knowledge of commercial transportation vehicles * Operate forklift, after required training and certification * Parts delivery, direct Parts Runner and assist other Parts Counter staff * Back up Inventory Specialist and Parts Runner in their absence * Assist with inventory counts and perform spot checks * Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate would have the ability to organize and process paperwork, have excellent verbal communication skills and provide attention to detail. We are seeking a candidate that has at least 2 years of experience within the automotive industry, and/or equivalent experience within a similar position.
