Job descriptionEdit Responsibilities * Design and follow a complete teaching plan * Provide instruction in Math, English, social studies and Science in accordance with the Ontario Curriculum * Organize learning material and resources * Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children?s abilities * Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information and feedback * Assess student performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis * Monitor children?s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing * Be able to work as part of a team and develop different learning opportunities for students * Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations Requirements * Proven working experience as a Primary Teacher or Early Childhood Educator * Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices * Creative and artistic teaching abilities * Teaching and organisation skills * Patience and flexibility * Strong communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $27.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Primary General Education Teachers: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationConcord, ON
