*Front Desk Agent* *Location:* Quality Inn Chatham *Position Type:* Full-time, Part-time, Permanent *Pay:* From $16.55 per hour *Benefits:* * On-site parking *Schedule:* * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed * Morning, evening, and night shifts available *Overview:* Quality Inn Chatham is seeking a friendly and experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy providing exceptional guest experiences, we want to hear from you. *Key Responsibilities:* * Greet and welcome guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly * Check-in and assign rooms to arriving guests * Manage, process, cancel, and change room reservations * Respond to guest concerns with patience and professionalism, ensuring satisfactory resolution * Handle payments and balance cash * Document issues in the Front Desk logbook for communication to the next shift; escalate to the Hotel Manager as needed * Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately * Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance * Perform clerical duties as required * Assist the Supervisor with additional tasks as needed * Maintain flexibility with scheduling * Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction * Perform other related duties as assigned *Qualifications:* * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Proficient in using phone systems and computer software * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations * Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Certificate or college diploma in Hotel Management (completed or in progress) *Preferred Experience:* * 1 year of customer service experience *Application Questions:* * Have you completed or are you working towards a certificate or college diploma in Hotel Management? *Work Location:* * On-site at Quality Inn Chatham *Application Process:* We value teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
