*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the efficient management of medication. This position is essential in maintaining a smooth workflow within the pharmacy, particularly in a community setting. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. * Provide exceptional patient care by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications. * Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles. * Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards, including safety protocols. * Organize and manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications as needed. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with staff and patients. * Support the training of new pharmacy technicians or assistants as required. *Skills* * Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. * Knowledge of medication administration processes and protocols. * Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties and responsibilities. * Proficient in medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations. * Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare staff effectively. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Pharmacy experience is a must * Kroll knowledge * English speaking Pay is negotiable and hours depending on experience.
