*Overview* Thornbury Dental is currently looking to hire a part-time dental assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic, providing exceptional support to both the dental team and patients. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dental care and committed to delivering high-quality service. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. * Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, impressions, and applying fluoride treatments. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. *Qualifications* * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
